Teen Stabbed In Crown Heights Subway Station: Police
BROOKLYN, NY — Police are looking for a man who they say stabbed a 17-year-old boy during an attempted robbery on Friday night in Crown Heights, New York Police Department Officials said.According to police, a 17-year-old boy was waiting for the southbound 3 train at the Utica Avenue train station on Eastern Parkway around 9 p.m. Friday when he was approached by an unknown man who forcibly tried to take the victim's backpack. When the victim tried to hang onto his property, he was stabbed in the left shoulder by the perpetrator, who then fled the station, NYPD officials said. The boy was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center by emergency responders, where he is in stable condition, police said.No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, officials said.
