Man Choked Young Girl During BK Robbery: Police
BROOKLYN, NY — An unknown man robbed two young girls and choked one of them in Brooklyn last week, police said. Last Wednesday, May 29, near Eastern Parkway and Ralph Avenue in Crown Heights, a 14-year-old girl and 6-year-old girl were approached from behind by an unidentified man who told the 14-year-old to give him her gold necklace, police said. When she refused, the man began to choke the 6-year-old girl and took her necklace, police said. He then snatched the 14-year-old girl's necklace as well. The suspect fled on foot, police said. The victims were transported by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition, police said. The suspect is described as standing 5' 8" tall, large build, 25 to 40-years-old and dark hair in a ponytail, police said. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt, black pants, dark shoes and was carrying a gray and red shopping bag from Target. After the incident, the man removed a gray hooded sweatshirt from the bag and put the sweatshirt on over his white t-shirt, police said.
