Weather Alert: Warm and Humid Today; Late Day Shwrs/T'storms

We've had a couple rounds of showers and thunderstorms since the overnight hours but we'll see drier conditions for this morning and afternoon. Another chance for isolated thunderstorm activity later today and tonight with another warm and very humid day ahead.

THIS MORNING
After the early morning t-storms and fog... we'll see a drier day take shape. It'll be another humid one though with dewpoints into the 70s by late morning. Very warm temperatures expected with 80s but it'll feel more like the 90s in spots with the humidity.

Best chance for sunshine will be during the early afternoon hours, creating a very warm and muggy second half of the day with highs in the mid to upper 80s and very humid conditions. There will be an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorm activity late in the day and towards tonight.
We are in a level two or slight risk for severe storms later today with the greatest local risk at a level three to our north in parts of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. There is also a marginal risk for excessive rainfall throughout our area.
Isolated activity is expected across RI/MA during the late evening Sunday. There is a chance for some localized flooding or strong winds but storms are expected to be in a weakening trend as they pass through.
