Everybody Still Hates Chris Trailer Unveils Guest-Star Lineup Including Ayo Edebiri

Comedy Central has finally shared the official Everybody Still Hates Chris trailer for the upcoming animated revival, based on Chris Rock‘s hit original family sitcom which ran on-air from 2005-2009 for four seasons. It is expected to make its debut this Wednesday, September 25 on Comedy Central.
“The revival will once again feature Rock’s Adult Chris narrating stories inspired by his experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s,” reads the logline.

The video provides fans with a preview of what to expect from the animated revival, with returning narrator Chris Rock promising more stories from his childhood. In addition to the trailer, the guest-star lineup for the show has also been revealed. Joining returning cast members Terry Crews and Tichinia Arnold are Ayo Edebiri, Natasha Rothwell, Sally Jessy Raphael, Busta Rhymes, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, Tisha Campbell, Sam Richardson, Jaylen Barron, Todd Bridges, Nicole Byer, Monét X Change, Eugene Cordero, Andy Daly, Loretta Devine, Earthquake, Ron Funches, Jaida Essence Hall, Jackée Harry, Phil Hendrie, Dave Herman, Thirstin’ Howl III, Rob Huebel, Phil Lamarr, Rack-Lo, Jessica Lowe, Vincent Martella, Laraine Newman, Gabrielle Nevaeh, Kevin Michael Richardson, Latrice Royale, Lindsey Stoddart, Cree Summer, Vanessa Vanjie, Jenny Yang, Ricky Bell, Michael L. Bivins, and Ronald Boyd DeVoe Jr.
Everybody Still Hates Chris is executive produced by Rock and showrunner Sanjay Shah. Additional voice cast includes Tim Johnson Jr. as young Chris, Ozioma Akagha as Chris’ sister Tonya, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Chris’ brother Drew, and Gunnar Sizemore as Chris’ only friend Greg. It is executive produced by Ali LeRoi, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina. Big Mouth producer Titmouse serves as the animation studio for the series.
