Joss Stone Says Parenting Two Toddlers Is Allowing Her to Get ‘To Know’ New Husband Cody Daluz in a New Light
Beloved actress and singer Joss Stone is loving motherhood, and with her new motherhood journey, she’s undergoing another journey: getting to know her new husband Cody Dulaz.
Okay, so, for those who don’t know, Stone and Dulaz reportedly met at an airport in Belize in 2020. Later that year, she and Dulaz announced they were expecting a child together. They welcomed two children named Violet, 3, and Shackleton, 1, whom they welcomed in late 2022. The two ended up secretly marrying in Nashville sometime in 2023, and now, they’re ready for a bigger wedding!

In a recent interview with UsMagazine, Stone revealed that while navigating parenthood with their young children, the newlyweds are still getting to know each other.
“It’s funny because we never had a big relationship before we had kids,” she said. “So our entire time has been having children.”
She added, saying, “We’re getting to know each other at the same time as doing a very difficult job. Parenting definitely, you know, [is] like having no sleep and all that kind of stuff. So it’s really crazy. And we wanted to be married, but we wanted to be married before we had kids, but that just didn’t happen.”
So, while they’re learning about parenthood, they’re learning about each other!
Stone also talked about how their engagement came about, and it had to do with their kiddos! She said, “It was like, ‘Oh, OK, you know, I have this kid.’ And then we had another kid. And then we were like, ‘We’re still not married! So we thought, ‘Let’s just go and do it.’”
And now, they’re having a big wedding soon, potentially with their two kiddos being a part of the ceremony.
