She’s Pregnant And Her Husband Left Her As Soon As His Ex Wanted Him Back
Around five years ago, this 28-year-old woman met her 29-year-old husband, James, after he moved to Tacoma, Washington.
They met at her company’s New Year’s Eve party, and her boss introduced them. She can’t lie; she instantly felt some kind of connection to James.
As the evening came to an end, James walked up to her and asked if she would give him a tour of their city, as he was new to the area.
She knew that was code for him seeing if she was interested in a date, and she said yes. From there, they quickly began dating, and James invited her to go on a trip to Boston.
James lived in that city before making the move out to Tacoma, and she got to meet all of his friends when they went to the east coast together.
“They were super nice to me, but I could see that something was off with the way they kept throwing weird glances at James,” she explained.
“As the evening went on, I managed to hear the name Willow being whispered in between them. Later, when we were getting ready to go to bed in the guest room, I asked who Willow was, and James immediately froze before he told me all about her.”
“She had been his first love. They met during high school, started dating when they were both 16, and their relationship ended right before he moved to Washington. Apparently, she just up and left one day, blocking him and their entire friend group everywhere.”
She proceeded to question James about why his friends had shot her strange looks while talking about Willow in hushed tones because she didn’t get it.

James hesitated and then picked up his phone to show her a photo of his ex. Well, she looks exactly like Willow.
She can’t fault James for who he finds attractive, but she felt sad as she put two and two together: James was only interested in dating her because she could be Willow’s twin.
“But like a fool, I believed him when he promised that although he was initially attracted to me because of my resemblance to Willow, he did fall in love with me and was fully over her,” she added.
Last year, she got married to James and they had a tiny little wedding, with their best friends and immediate family members as guests.
Four months ago, she found out she was pregnant, and when she shared that with James, he was ecstatic.
Later on, they learned they’re going to be the proud mom and dad of a little boy, and that made James even more elated.
A week ago, James got a mysterious phone call, and he was all shaken up when he got off the phone. She tried to ask James what was going on, but he ignored her and quickly left their home.
“As I watched him drive away in his car, I started to panic,” she said. “I tried calling him, but when he wouldn’t pick up, I called one of his work friends and then his brother to find out if anything happened at work that he was urgently needed for or if anything happened to anyone in their family.”
“When the answers to both were no, I decided to contact one of his Boston friends. Since I don’t have any of their numbers, I had to contact them via Instagram DMs. I tried one and waited.”
She didn’t get a response, so she messaged several more of his friends, hoping they would hold the clues to his unexpected disappearance.
The next morning, one of his friends replied back to her in a very short message that stated Willow had returned.
Her stomach dropped as she read those words, and she knew James had hustled back to Boston to see Willow.
“Literal years of trying to convince myself that he wasn’t with me only because of my resemblance to Willow, only for him to run back to her the moment she decided she wanted to be in his life again,” she continued.
“I’ve been agonizing over this situation since I found out, and I truly don’t know what to do. I am aware that I should probably divorce him. But I want to at least hear him out once he returns my calls or comes back home before I make a decision. I’d go to Boston to confront him but I don’t think I have the guts to possibly meet Willow. Or worse, see them together.”
“I honestly feel kind of stupid for not seeing this coming. I thought he was happy with me. I thought he was happy we’re going to be parents. But apparently, he’s more happy to run to the woman who ghosted him years ago.”
What advice do you have for her in light of James leaving her as soon as Willow wanted him back?
