Donald Trump faced a chorus of criticism from the ladies of The View the morning after a Pennsylvania campaign event turned into an impromptu concert in the wake of reported medical incidents inside the venue.
Following the Oaks, Pa., event's grand finale on Monday night, which included Trump dancing to an assortment of songs on stage alongside South Dakota's governor, Kristi Noem, the Hot Topics table turned up the heat on the former president's behavior with only three weeks to go before he faces off against Vice President Kamala Harris in the November election.
"This should freak everybody out. This should really freak everybody out," The View moderator Whoopi Goldberg said at the top of the live broadcast, after the show played clips of Trump dancing on stage for up to "57 minutes," she cited, though other sources indicated he spent closer to 30 minutes grooving to tunes like the Village People's "YMCA" and a rendition of "Ave Maria."
Goldberg then slammed Trump for "not saying jack doo about anything that has to do with what's going on in the world" instead of dancing. "This freaked me out," she continued. "He's freaked me out a lot, but this really upset me."

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the show's conservative panelist who previously worked under Trump on the White House's communications team, called the moment "hilarious," but stressed that "it's serious" enough to raise concerns over.
"This is not even the man I worked for or who had all sorts of problems then. There's a very real decline," she said, pointing out the hypocrisy of criticizing 81-year-old President Joe Biden's age without talking about Trump as a man who's "clearly in decline" at the age of 78.
"There's clearly a mental acuity issue, right?" legal expert Sunny Hostin asked. "My understanding, to be fair, is that there were two people that required medical attention at the rally. Rather than perhaps check on them, as someone with empathy would have or do something, he decides to go into this. It's because it was very hot in there, maybe address the issue of climate change, why is it so hot right now? Maybe say something about healthcare."

Joy Behar, who turned 82 last week, called Trump "addled and demented" for dancing at the event, and observed that "he has no idea what reality is," in her estimation.
"There was no one stepping in to fix it. This is what a presidency looks like with him," Sara Haines added. "They all egged it on. He said, 'Jump,' they all said, 'How high?'"
Despite the criticism, Trump's campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, claimed on X that the event was a "total lovefest" for supporters.

"Everyone was so excited they were fainting so @realDonaldTrump turned to music," he said, referencing the medical incidents that occurred at the venue. "Nobody wanted to leave and wanted to hear more songs from the famous DJT Spotify playlist!"
