Wonder Woman’s Lynda Carter Shares a Throwback Swimsuit Photo to Promote Her New Era of Music
The ever-so-iconic Wonder Woman alum Lynda Carter is not only beloved for her acting, but for her sensational singing; and her new single has fans oh-so-excited!
On June 3, Carter shared a jaw-dropping throwback photo to her Instagram with the caption reading, “The photo shoot that inspired the cover art for Pink Slip Lollipop. Will you be listening 6/21? #newmusic #pinksliplollipop.”

In the throwback, black and white photo, we see Carter posing in a light one-piece swimsuit, with her long black hair waving down to the middle of her back.
Now, in case you missed it, days prior, she shared a sneak peek of her new single to her Instagram. With the throwback photo as the cover art, with a pink filter over it, and she shared it with the caption reading, “Boys, get ready for the pink slip. 😘 This one’s for the ladies! PINK SLIP LOLLIPOP A hot new pop single, streaming June 21 on @applemusic, @spotify, or wherever you listen to music 💖 #newmusic.”

For those who don’t know, along with being an iconic actress and red-carpet fashion icon, she’s an insanely talented singer. She’s released five albums since 1978, releasing numerous singles, performing live in Las Vegas, and doing iconic musical specials on TV.
In a recent interview with Music Times, Carter explained how she was forced to choose between music and acting when she first started; but later made her own path.
“I actually tried to get a record deal when I first moved to L.A. But it was always that conundrum: If you’re a singer, you can’t be an actress. You couldn’t tell casting people that you were a singer, and the music labels didn’t want to hear that you also acted,” she said. “You had to be on one turf; it was that kind of situation. But then I got Wonder Woman, and then they figured out I could sing, so then I got to do these other things.”
