Every 2026 recruit Notre Dame offered during the spring contact period
The Notre Dame football program opened the floodgates with scholarship offers for 2026 recruits on Pot of Gold Day. While about 85 rising high school juniors reported new Fighting Irish offers during the program’s St. Patrick’s Day-themed recruiting event, other new offers are trickling in.
Since the Notre Dame coaching staff started stopping by the high schools of the nation’s top prospects on April 24, seven 2026 prospects have received an offer from the Irish. Here is a breakdown of each one.

Strongsville (Ohio) High LB Storm Miller
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 166 overall player, No. 14 linebacker nationally and No. 5 prospect in Ohio in 2026Other notable offers: Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Missouri, West Virginia and WisconsinNotre Dame offer date: May 1
Although Notre Dame never offered Storm Miller’s brother — current Clemson starting right tackle Blake Miller — linebackers coach Max Bullough was happy to send one out to the younger Miller after seeing him at his high school.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Storm had 81 tackles, 17 for loss, 10 sacks and 3 interceptions last season. In addition to the Tigers, Ohio State figures to be a top contender for his commitment if it offers. Miller, a four-star, is looking to get to South Bend for a camp in June.

Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill DL Deuce Geralds
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 99 overall player, No. 10 linebacker nationally and No. 14 prospect in Georgia in 2026Other notable offers: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, LSU, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Southern California, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, UCF and West Virginia Notre Dame offer date: May 1
Deuce Geralds already has a decorated offer sheet with 32 scholarship opportunities from power conference programs. So, it only made sense that the Irish entered the mix for the four-star.
Interest from those programs comes after his dominant sophomore season. He registered 82 tackles (43 solo), 30 TFLs, 14 sacks, 40 quarterback hurries and 2 forced fumbles. He has visited Alabama, Auburn, North Carolina and Ole Miss multiple times. Vanderbilt, LSU, NC State, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, Florida, Ohio State and Georgia have also hosted him on their respective campuses.
Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe S J’Zavien Currence
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 87 overall player, No. 10 safety nationally and No. 1 prospect in South Carolina in 2026Other notable offers: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Purdue, South Carolina, Southern California, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, UCLA and West VirginiaNotre Dame offer date: May 6
Like Geralds, J’Zavien Currence is another highly touted Southern recruit. The 6-3, 210-pounder is giving early attention to SEC schools, visiting South Carolina, Georgia and Florida at least three times each. The four-star has also been to Florida State, Maryland and West Virginia.
Currence collected 67 tackles (32 solo), 5 TFLs, 5 interceptions, 12 pass breakups, 1 caused fumble and a quarterback hurry in 10 games last season.
Huntersville (N.C.) William Amos Hough CB Samari Matthews
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 55 overall player, No. 5 cornerback nationally and No. 5 prospect in North Carolina in 2025Other notable offers: Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Southern California, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and WisconsinNotre Dame offer date: May 7
Irish cornerbacks coach Mike Mickens made a push into Samari Matthews’ recruitment earlier this spring. Though Notre Dame has had past success recruiting the Tar Heel State, Matthews poses a recruitment with plenty of competitive options.
The four-star has been to North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Miami multiple times. Penn State and Florida State have also welcomed him down South. As a sophomore, he charted 25 tackles (20 solo), 1 interception and 1 pass breakup in 10 games, per MaxPreps.

Downey (Calif.) St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy DL Malik Brooks
On3 Industry Ranking: N/AOther notable offers: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, SMU, Southern California and UCLANotre Dame offer date: May 16
Georgia native Malik Brooks reeled in an offer from Notre Dame when defensive coordinator Al Golden was in Southern California. While the 6-4, 312-pounder’s recruitment is just getting underway, he hopes to visit Alabama, Georgia and Notre Dame in June or July.

Dallas South Oak Cliff LB Jamarion Phillips
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 511 overall player, No. 40 linebacker nationally and No. 63 prospect in TexasOther notable offers: Arizona State, Auburn, Baylor, Colorado, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Purdue, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M and Texas TechNotre Dame offer date: May 16
Notre Dame offered a rising junior linebacker from Dallas South Oak Cliff in consecutive springs. Three-star Jamarion Phillips was this year’s representative. He had an outstanding sophomore season, recording 95 tackles (55 solo), 23 TFLs, 14 sacks and 1 caused fumble.
Now rising senior linebacker JJ Shelton never ended up visiting Notre Dame and eventually committed to Arkansas. So, the Irish will look to make a more major impact in Phillips’ recruitment.
Purcellville (Va.) Woodgrove WR Connor Salmin
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 433 overall player, No. 68 wide receiver nationally and No. 10 prospect in Virginia in 2025Other notable offers: Duke, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, Rutgers, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West VirginiaNotre Dame offer date: May 22
There is no public evidence that Notre Dame wide receivers coach Mike Brown stopped by Connor Salmin’s high school while he was in Virginia. Still, it would not be surprising if Brown did, considering the 6-1, 190-pound Salmin’s profile.
Last season, the three-star notched 53 receptions for 1,107 yards and 16 touchdowns. He also has elite speed, recording a 10.5-second mark in the 100-meter dash. Salmin has visited Virginia, Penn State and North Carolina twice each. He has also been to Duke, Maryland, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
