The Traitors Celebrity line up so far from massive US star to Team GB champ
HIT BBC show The Traitors look to be assembling a star-studded lineup for its upcoming celebrity spin-off.
The Sun has already exclusively revealed stars reportedly joining Claudia Winkleman at Ardross Castle.
Meanwhile, The Sun also revealed in January that the Beeb commissioned a celeb spin-off of its ratings hit.
Since debuting in 2022, the gripping reality series has aired two dramatic, backstabbing series to date.
Household names are now taking a turn at the game of mystery and deceit.
Ricky Gervais

The Sun previously revealed Traitors’ bosses hopes of signing up comedy superstar Ricky Gervais.
As of late, Ricky, 63, has been committed to his hugely popular stand-up series for Netflix.
But the Beeb hope he can be convinced to return to the channel where shot to global fame – with fan favourite series The Office.
A TV insider said: “The Beeb want the crème de la crème of stars for the celeb spin-off, and they ideally have to be incredibly smart, funny, and mischievous — and that’s Ricky in three words.
“Behind the scenes, big names have already expressed their interest in taking part from the moment it was revealed the new version of The Traitors was being made.
“So Ricky will be in good company around the Traitors table, but whether he takes part will probably depend on his hugely busy diary.”
Ricky co-created and starred in The Office, playing lead character David Brent.
More recently, he wrote, directed and starred in Netflix comedy-drama After Life.
Courteney Cox

In February, The Sun told how Friends star Courteney, 60, was being lined up as the first signing for Celebrity Traitors.
A pal of host Claudia, the pair have even appeared in a sketch together.
A TV insider said: “Getting Courteney on board would be a real coup.”
As Friends fans know, Courteney played Monica Geller on the iconic NBC sitcom for a decade.
She starred alongside Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry.
Courteney and Matthew – who died aged 54 last year – were a popular on-screen couple as spouses Monica and Chandler.
In addition, she has appeared in every Scream movie spanning 1996 to 2023.
While working on those films, she met ex-husband and father of her daughter Coco, David Arquette.
As of 2013, Courteney has been in a long-term relationship with Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid.
Clare Balding

The Sun revealed former jockey and BBC favourite Clare, 53, had signed up for Celebrity Traitors.
It means the long-standing broadcaster will appear in her first reality series – having previously rejected offers.
A source said: “Clare is an absolutely brilliant signing because she’s always turned down reality offers flat.
“As such, this will offer the first real glimpse into what she’s like as a person.
“She’s known to generations of TV viewers from fronting everything from racing and the Olympics through to Crufts and occasionally Countryfile.
“And could anyone really believe that the Beeb’s dependable, sensible face of sport could be a treacherous liar?”
A BBC spokesman declined to comment on “speculation” over Clare’s appearance.
Clare has told previously that she was approached to take part in the Beeb’s Strictly Come Dancing and ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
However, she declared: “I wouldn’t do it.
“If they were building a school in Africa or something worthy I’d do it.”
Tom Daley

Fresh off his retirement from diving, Olympian Tom Daley is reportedly taking the plunge into reality TV.
Earlier this month, The Sun revealed Tom, 30, was in final talks to join The Traitors’ Celebrity edition.
An insider said: “He’s always been a top target for reality show bookers, but his team knew he had the pick of the crop.
“The first series of the celebrity edition blows I’m A Celebrity and Strictly out the water, really, and Tom knows it will be hugely fun to film.
“He’ll make a great player too, as no one would suspect misdeeds from such a baby-faced lad.”
The BBC said of his Traitors talks: “We do not comment on speculation.”
After winning silver in the men’s synchronised 10m platform at this summer’s Paris Olympic games, Tom retired from diving.
This followed a two-year break after achieving a lifetime goal of winning gold in the event in Tokyo in 2021.
He returned to compete after young son Robbie said he wanted to see his dad dive at an Olympic Games.
Tom’s other accolades include bronze medals in London 2012 and Tokyo 2021 in the 10m platform, and in the 10m synchro in Rio 2016.
Richard Osman

BBC game show host and author Richard Osman is another big name reportedly set to join Claudia at Ardross Castle.
An insider teased Richard, 53, is “set to sign up” for the monumental Celebrity Traitors series.
These insiders told The Mirror: “Richard would be a terrific signing.
“He reckons he knows how to commit the perfect murder, so could surely spot a Traitor from 100 paces or outsmart the others if he needs to?
“He also knows exactly how TV works.
“Anyone who’s seen him on Pointless or House of Games will know how clever he is.
“And his claim that he’s no good at lying seems unlikely.”
The former Pointless host previously said he’d been turned down by MI6 in his youth.
Richard revealed: “You could not find a worse spy.
“I would have been terrible. I’m too tall, not bright enough, and if I have a secret, I tell everybody.”
Stephen Fry
AlamyComedian and presenter Stephen Fry has reportedly agreed to take part[/caption]
In August, The Sun revealed comedian and presenter Stephen Fry had agreed to take part in Celebrity Traitors.
The former QI host, 67, had been at the top of Claudia Winkleman’s wishlist for the all-star version of the backstabbing show.
A source told The Sun: “Claudia put Stephen right at the top of celebs she’d want on The Traitors and Stephen has made it clear he’d be game.
“Stephen is a fan of the show and Claudia was desperate for him to be in it.
“No contracts have been signed yet — but he told the show’s bosses to name a time and date and he’ll be there.”
He is well-known for working Hugh Laurie, 65, in the double act Fray and Laurie.
The duo appeared in several projects together in the 1980s and 1990s.
Meanwhile, Stephen has also starred in classic comedy series including Blackadder, Jeeves and Wooster and Alfresco.
Bob Mortimer

Comedy legend Bob, 65, has said he’d love to sign up for Celebrity Traitors.
Would I Lie To You? fans likely recognise the star for his tall tales on the hit BBC panel show.
However, he is also a Traitors superfan having watched three worldwide versions of the show.
Speaking to The Mirror, Bob revealed: “I watch the American, UK and Australian versions of The Traitors.
“I think they’re all great, it’s a brilliant format. And Claudia is the best of the presenters.”
Bob is well-known for his work alongside fellow comic Vic Reeves as duo Reeves and Mortimer.
Before pursuing comedy, the star worked as a solicitor – skills which could prove handy in the castle.
