PlayStation VR2 PC adapter is launching on August 7th

Sony has confirmed the release of an adapter for its PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset, allowing users to connect it to a PC. The announcement comes after Sony recently submitted the adapter for approval on the South Korean National Radio Research Agency website.
The device conveniently connects to the PSVR2's USB-C port, allowing users to delve into PC VR titles, such as Half-Life: Alyx, without needing standalone PC VR headgear like the Valve Index or Meta Quest. The adapter, however, does not include everything needed to connect in and play; gamers must additionally buy a DisplayPort cable compatible with DisplayPort 1.4.
Sony also disclosed the minimal requirements for the PSVR2 headset to work on a PC, although it did not include the recommended requirements. At the very least, you will need an Intel Core i5-7600 or an AMD Ryzen 3 3100, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 or an AMD Radeon RX 5500XT, and 8GB of RAM. Bluetooth 4.0 support is also required. Lastly, the system must run Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
It's worth noting that because the PSVR2 was designed for the PlayStation 5, Sony has cautioned that certain key features, such as HDR, headset feedback, eye tracking, and adaptive triggers, will be unavailable when using the headset on a PC. Sony stated the adapter is set to hit the shelves on August 7th, 2024, and will be priced at £49.99/$59.99/€59.99.
