The New England Patriots are dealing with a number of injuries to their offensive line despite being just three games into the season.
The Patriots entered Week 3 against the New York Jets with their third starting left tackle in as many weeks and the third left guard on their desired depth chart. Offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor left the team and Vederian Lowe is injured, which caused rookie offensive tackle Caedan Wallace to enter the mix. Meanwhile, the injuries to left guards Cole Strange and Sidy Sow thrust guard Michael Jordan into the fray.
The unit has royally struggled.
Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo provided injury updates on Sow and Lowe when he spoke with reporters at Gillette Stadium on Monday.

Mayo said Sow, who's missed three games after he suffered an ankle injury in the preseason finale, will be at practice Monday. Sow has been out since Aug. 25.
"He'll be out there today, hopefully moving around a little bit and we'll see how he responds the next day," Mayo told reporters, per a team-provided video.
Mayo said he wasn't sure if a healthier Sow would replace Jordan as the starting left guard.
"Once again, it's still early in the season," Mayo said. "We'll just see how it goes."
Mayo didn't provide as optimistic of an update on Lowe, who missed Thursday's game after he suffered an injury against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. Mayo expected Lowe to be at practice but wasn't sure how much he would participate.
"It's interesting, he's kind of been in and out of the lineup all the way back in the summer," said Mayo, referencing Lowe's multiple injury-related absences. "When we say we'll work these guys out in individuals, all that stuff is good, but you have to see how they present the next day. I wish I could give you a timeline, but I can't on that player."
The Patriots will reveal their first injury report of the week Wednesday. New England will travel to San Francisco for a Week 4 game Sunday afternoon.
