Arkansas WR Isaac TeSlaa makes insane one-handed catch during warmups vs. Arkansas Pine-Bluff
It’s safe to say Arkansas is ready to kick off its 2024 campaign. Ahead of the Razorbacks’ season-opening showdown against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday, Arkansas wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa made a jaw-dropping one-handed catch during warmups.
After the catch, the fifth-year senior casually walked away as if it was an everyday occurrence. Of course, TeSlaa’s confidence isn’t a complete surprise. Last season, TeSlaa started all 12 games for the Razorbacks, amassing 34 catches for 351 yards and two touchdowns.

Moreover, Isaac TeSlaa led the team with eight contested catches according to Pro Football Focus and finished second on the squad in receptions and yards. He didn’t record a single drop on 64 targets. It appears TeSlaa didn’t lose his uncanny ability to haul in catches over the offseason.

Bobby Petrino addresses potential Arkansas turnover issues
TeSlaa’s talents will be key to the Razorbacks’ efforts this year. In the 2023 campaign at Boise State, quarterback Taylen Green threw 11 touchdowns compared to nine interceptions. After the season, Green transferred to Arkansas.

Earlier this month, Arkansas offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino discussed Green’s past turnover issues.
“We’re working on it every day,” Petrino said. “We’ve done a pretty good job throughout camp taking care of the ball. Yesterday, we turned it over a number of times. Tip passes always result in interceptions in the SEC because everyone’s so fast. They close in and make the plays on the ball. They weren’t Taylen’s yesterday, though, but they were tipped interceptions.
“But that’s a big part of playing quarterback — especially in practice — because you gotta challenge yourself enough to see if I can stick that post, if I can make that throw. Then you have to be smart enough to dump the ball off and take your check downs.”
Evidently, Green showed off those smarts at fall practice. In his first season with the Razorbacks, the transfer QB secured the starting spot behind center.
Although Green threw nine interceptions last season, it was far from a disappointing campaign. Despite splitting playing time with Broncos freshman Maddox Madsen, Green tallied 1,752 yards in the air, 436 yards on the ground and 20 total scores.
Now, Green will look to reach new heights with the Razorbacks. Tune into Arkansas’ season-opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday night on ESPNU.
