Deadly Penn Hills Hookah Bar Shooting: Latest Update
PENN HILLS, PA — Allegheny County police continue to investigate a gunfight at a hookah bar early Sunday that left two people dead and seven others wounded.The shooting occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar in the 3500 block of Laketon Road. First responders found a man and a woman dead. Four other men and three other women were wounded during the incident; some were taken to area hospitals by ambulance, others sought hospital treatment on their own. One person was listed in critical condition; the others suffered injuries that are not life threatening, according to police.Neither the two people killed or those wounded had been identified as of Monday morning.Police believe an altercation took place inside the bar and multiple individuals opened fire. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
