Texas first responders have rescued or evacuated more than 1,000 people. Lives were saved because of those first responders. Give it up for our fearless first responders.”Strait’s set also included some other guests, including Jamey Johnson, who appeared on “Give It Away,” and Dean Dillon and Bubba Strait, who joined him on “There for a Good Time.” (Bubba, born George Strait Jr., is Strait’s 44-year-old son.)The country legend’s official Instagram account posted a video highlight reel from the event, along with a lengthy caption, that said in part: “The evening served as both a heartfelt tribute to the resilient spirit of the region and a critical fundraiser to provide immediate relief to impacted families. If you’d like to contribute, donations can be made at the link in bio.”Fans approved of the post and heaped praise on the country legend.“George Strait is the best country artist out there ever,” one wrote.“George Strait is a national treasure,” added another.“We were happy to be a part of it and to give back for such a good cause! 💚 It was a wonderful night,” the official account for Hat Bar wrote.“This is why you are the king 👑 you have a huge heart, full of love for others.
