Man Steals Checks, $4K In Cash, In East Farmingdale: Police
EAST FARMINGDALE, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man who, police said, stole from an East Farmingdale business in August.A man reached into a vehicle parked at R&J Auto Repair, at 1009 Route 109, at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 27 and stole assorted checks and more than $4,000 worth of cash, police said. He drove away on a black motorcycle, police said. He is wanted for grand larceny.Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com.
