Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood have not only enjoyed a long marriage but have gone onto become something of a power couple. However, following allegations being made against Brooks months ago, there has been speculation over what will happen to their relationship. Recently, an inside source has recently weighed in on what could be happening between the two.
Garth Brooks & Trisha Yearwood Were Married Back In 2005
To music fans, Brooks is a prominent country music star, with a career starting in the mid-1980s. Having sold over 170 million records, he is considered one of the best-selling music artists in the world.
In his personal life, Brooks has been married to fellow country music singer Trisha Yearwood since 2005. Prior to this, he was married to Sandy Mahl from 1986 to 2001. Yearwood herself had been married twice before marrying Brooks to Christopher Latham and Robert Reynolds.

Recently, Brooks had been present when Yearwood had been honored with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. As she herself shared, “As many accolades and awards as he’s won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something.”
Yearwood then addressed her husband directly. As she shared, “For all the people that want this for me, nobody wants it more than you. I appreciate you for being my support.”
However, it hasn’t necessarily been an easy time for the couple. Six months ago, as previously reported, a hairstylist and makeup artist for the couple filed a lawsuit accusing Brooks of sexual assault and battery.
In particular, Brooks was accused of raping the woman in a Los Angeles hotel room. For his part, Brooks has denied the allegations.
An inside source has recently talked with Radar Online, saying how the allegations have impacted the couple. As they admitted, “Trisha was shocked that anyone would accuse Garth of such heinous things.”
An Inside Source Recently Talked About What Could Be A Sign Of What’s To Come
The insider continued, “It’s put a strain on their relationship. They’ve been living with this legal mess for months now. It’s the elephant in the room.”
The source believed that Yearwood has faith in her husband. They noted, “But she thinks she knows Garth well enough by now to know he could never do such a thing, so she believes him when he says he didn’t do this.”
The source also claimed that a separation would be unpractical. As they noted, “Even if Trisha had doubts, she’s built her life around Garth, and it would be hard to leave.” In addition, “It would look bad for Garth and might hurt his case.”
The source also highlighted how money could complicate things. They explained, “Word is, there’s no prenup, because they believed their union would last. If this is the case and they did split, things could get messy very fast.”
However, the source also discussed how one of the couple’s homes was sold for $3.3 million a day before the allegations came out. They noted, “Many wealthy couples liquidate some assets before a split just to make things simpler and avoid potential issues. Some have wondered if unloading that house wasn’t a coincidence.”
Publicly, however, the couple appears to still remain strong. Back in February, Yearwood wished her husband a happy birthday, complete with a photo of her giving him a kiss. As she wrote, “For my forever duet partner…Happy Birthday, Honey.”
