Lindsay Lohan Stuns Kelly Ripa with the Real Reason She Fled Hollywood for Dubai
Actress Lindsay Lohan has never been happier. The Freakier Friday star, 39, dazzled on her recent press tour for her upcoming film, giving new insight into her private life in Dubai with husband Bader Shammas and their two-year-old son, Luai.The Long Island-born actress secured worldwide fame when she starred opposite film legend Jamie Lee Curtis in the 2003 comedy Freaky Friday. The Tina Fey-written teen comedy Mean Girls followed in 2004, securing Lohan’s icon status for good. With that meteoric rise to stardom came a relentless interest in the actress’s life and career, making her one of the most photographed and followed stars in the world. During a recent visit to Live with Kelly and Mark, Lohan gave new insight into why her home base is in Dubai.She said, "It’s just far away from Hollywood, yeah, and I live a very normal life. There's no worry of, like, I can't go eat at this place because someone's going to take a picture of my son. And it's just—I feel very safe."Lohan went on to explain that in Dubai, paparazzi aren’t legal. "You can't take a picture of someone else if you're at a restaurant," she explained.
