The 24-year-old was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and child neglect.
She allegedly approached her neighbor’s home and knocked on the door before breaking a window and entering the property.
Cops were called by the homeowner who did not recognize Blunt and wanted to report a burglary in progress.
The victim said the woman did not respond when asked who was knocking at the door.
Blunt then allegedly moved from the front door to bang on the sliding glass doors.
A window near the front door was allegedly smashed in by Blunt while the neighbor was on that call with the 911 dispatcher.
By the time police arrived, the homeowner was outside to meet them, according to the arrest report.
Officers clarified that this was the sole reason the neighbor left their property.
Meanwhile, Blunt was standing naked and bleeding at the front door.
She is believed to have cut her hands and wrists while breaking the window and entering the property.
She was “nude and bleeding from injuries she sustained while breaking the window and entering the residence,” Lake City officers said according to Click Orlando.
“Blunt seemed confused and kept repeating this is my home,” one officer said in the report, per WEAR-TV.
“It appeared to me that Blunt might have been under the influence of an unknown substance,” the report added.
Blunt was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated before being taken to the Columbia County Jail.
Upon further investigation into the incident, police found that Blunt lived in a nearby apartment.
Cops visited the residence as part of their investigation and found her two young children unsupervised at home.
They were safe and taken to another family member.
Their mother now faces a child neglect charge in addition to the charges relating to the alleged break-in.
Blunt is being held in jail without bond.
The U.S. Sun previously reported on a homeowner whose $1 million home was stolen from her and she was the one who got arrested after breaking in and taking action.
