Wild mob smashes windows of NYPD vehicles after cops respond to apparent car meet-up

By Larry Celona and David Propper
Hordes of hoodlums vandalized three police cars – including smashing windows and jumping on at least one vehicle – early Sunday morning during a wild car meet-up in Queens, according to police and footage of the chaos.
The bedlam happened along Rockaway Boulevard in a commercial area of Ozone Park as rowdy brutes engulfed the police cars responding to disorder around 1 a.m., police and law enforcement sources said.
Jaw-dropping video shows a handful of perps either leaning against or slapping an unmarked car before one vandal gets on the hood of the car and slams a traffic cone against the front windshield, cracking it.

Other rabble rousers then jumped on top of the car and threw another traffic cone at it before the vehicle – with its sirens blaring – pulled away, footage shows.
The ruffians also threw traffic cones at a marked NYPD cruiser during the skirmish, additional video shows.
