Snow Peak and Pendleton Release New Navajo-Inspired Towel Blankets
Snow Peak and Pendleton have teamed up for an annual blanket collaboration since 2018, and the two longtime partners just announced their latest collaborative effort: a duo of new Towel Blankets that use Pendleton's "Hacienda" pattern. Arriving in both "Foliage" and "Black" color schemes, each blanket displays nine different design elements, including diamonds, stripes, crosses and triangles, all of which are inspired by traditional Navajo weaving patterns.Designed to be multifunctional in both aesthetic and application, both blankets feature a distinct colorway on each side — essentially the inverse color scheme of the opposite side — and their thick loopback cotton construction also enables them to pull double duty as either a highly absorbent towel or a warm and comfortable blanket, a hybrid setup dissimilar from Pendleton's classic blankets, which are typically made from a wool and cotton blend. Both of these Towel Blankets also feature Snow Peak and Pendleton labels woven onto their corners. Expect the Snow Peak x Pendleton Towel Blankets in "Foliage" and "Black" to release via Snow Peak's website, its brick-and-mortar locations and its network of stockists on Saturday, May 18. A MSRP has yet to be announced, but past Towel Blanket collaborations have retailed for $159.95 USD.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
