Week 8 in the SEC is absolutely loaded. Auburn vs. Missouri and South Carolina vs. Oklahoma will play early on Oct. 19. One of the top games of the day will take place at 3:30 p.m. on ABC with Tennessee hosting Alabama.
Both teams suffered surprising losses this past weekend but are still serious contenders to make the College Football Playoff. The winner of the SEC showdown between the Crimson Tide and Vols will be in a good spot to get into the CFP.
In the evening, LSU and Arkansas will meet in a rivalry game. LSU is 4-1 (1-0) on the season, while the Razorbacks have been a pleasant surprise. Arkansas is 4-2 with a pair of one-score losses and a win over a top-5 Tennessee team.
Finally, Georgia and Texas will meet in a battle of two of the top teams in the country. The Longhorns are ranked No. 1 after Alabama was upset this past weekend, while Georgia is back in the top 5 after falling to Alabama last month.
Oct. 19 should be quite the day of games in the SEC.
