‘It’s dad bod season,’ admits Patrick Mahomes as NFL star and teammate Travis Kelce struggle to put on Chiefs jerseys
KANSAS City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been enjoying the NFL offseason.
And judging from the latest video of the Chiefs duo, they might need a little work to get into top shape.

Mahomes and Kelce reunited for the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City – raising money for Children’s Mercy.
Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Eric Stonestreet, and Heidi Gardner were among the celebrities at the star-studded event.
The NFL icons were given Chiefs jerseys with their numbers on them in a viral TikTok clip.
“They still fit, even in the off-season,” an announcer said. “Keeping it tight.”
Unfortunately, Mahomes and Kelce both struggled to get them on over their clothes.
“It’s dad bod season,” Mahomes, 28, joked as he tried to roll his down.
“I have no kids. This is just what it looks like at 35,” Kelce added as he was helped into his own jersey.
“Travis literally makes me laugh all of the time,” posted one fan.
“Spanx mode on,” added another.
“Paul Rudd taking pics on his phone like a proud dad is the best part,” a third replied.
One eagled-eyed fan pointed out that Kelce does not turn 35 until October 5.
While others believed he was protecting girlfriend Taylor Swift amid rumors she is pregnant.
Mahomes has regularly been forced to defend his physique.
“I definitely have the dad bod a little bit. I’ll also say I have a great body for a quarterback,” he told Time.
“You’ve got to have some padding in there to take the hits that we take.”
Mahomes has two kids with his wife Brittany, 3-year-old daughter Sterling and 18-month-old son Bronze.
He has teamed up with Coors Light for a humorous line of T-shirts that address his “dad bod.”
The company is releasing two shirts in a special collaboration.
The first says “DAD BOD” across the chest of the shirt with the Coors Light logo underneath.
The second says “here’s my 6-pack” across the chest with a picture of six Coors Light cans on the stomach.
