Ohio Fugitive Accused of Masterminding Multi-City Human Trafficking Rings: Law Enforcement Unites in Manhunt

The heat is cranking up on accused human trafficker Harry Randolph, with Ohio authorities turning to the power of the public's gaze in hopes of capturing a man facing a stack of felony charges. Per an announcement released by the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force via the Ohio Attorney General's news release, Randolph, 49, is wanted on seventeen felony charges split across human trafficking, drug trafficking, and firearms. His list of alleged misdeeds climaxed in an indictment delivered by Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Sept. 18.
Surfacing under various aliases such as “Damon,” “Chip,” and “Twin,” Randolph is believed to be behind a human trafficking operation. Spanning geographies from Cleveland to Atlanta, his network is as elusive as it seems extensive. With his whereabouts currently a shadow draped across several cities, the task force pleads for anyone harboring information on Randolph to step forward. After being indicted three months earlier in June, he slipped through the law's fingers, and now, they're itching to close in on him again.
The task force coordinating the search is a cohort of law enforcement from various departments, demonstrating that the response is robust and connected when it comes to human dignity. Converging under the Ohio Attorney General’s Organized Crime Investigations Commission, the team embodies units from the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office to U.S. federal departments. Together, they represent a dragnet and a symbol of inter-agency unity against the scourge of human exploitation.
Indictments like the ones Randolph faces are weighty. They speak of crimes that rend the social fabric, snaring human lives in a web spun by greed and disregard. Each count he stands accused of, a total of six related to human trafficking and another seven attached to narcotics, forms a narrative of what the task force is trying to unravel. That Randolph was already indicted on weapon and stolen property charges in June adds a layer of urgency to the current pursuit. Now cast as watchful guardians, the public might hold the key to a breakthrough. Tips can be submitted confidentially to the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force at their listed phone number or by emailing Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County.
