Hollyoaks’ Grace Black reels as Freddie Roscoe brings along an unexpected visitor – and it’s a blast from the past

Grace Black (Tamara Wall) receives quite a shock in Hollyoaks next week when Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) brings along an unexpected visitor to see her in prison.
The much-loved character, as viewers know, was incarcerated in Scotland after she took the wrap for the heist she orchestrated with Cindy Cunningham (Steph Waring) and Zara Morgan (Kelly Condron), with her friends getting off scot free.
But the much-loved legend staged an unexpected comeback to our screens after a year, just shortly after Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) returned to the eponymous village.
A surprise twist confirmed that Freddie and Grace were secretly in cahoots, having worked out that deceased Fraser left a tonne of money in the walls of The Loft – and they’re intent on getting their hands on it!
What’s more, Freddie is engaged to Grace – with the two professing to be madly in love with one another – with Freddie planning on breaking Grace out of prison once he obtains the fortune so that they can start a new life together elsewhere.
In typical Hollyoaks fashion, however, the plan encountered something of an obstacle, with Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) having got wind of what Freddie was up to – and he refused to part with the cash, instead resolving to keep it to himself.

But Warren’s attention is soon elsewhere following the events of Cindy and Dave Chen-Williams’ (Dominic Power) wedding, and he attacks Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer)!
Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe), meanwhile, is feeling lost and therefore she heads to The Loft to proposition Warren for comfort. Warren admits to attacking Prince, who accused him of supplying dodgy drugs.

Freddie is forced to intervene, as a vicious showdown ensues between Mercedes and Warren, but it’s clear that he’s got a trick up his sleeve, with the former landlady of The Dog accompanying Freddie to prison, where she faces off with Grace!
After getting wind of their plan, Mercedes is left laughing, believing that they’ll never get one over on Warren.
Grace and Freddie, however, have an idea. They want Mercedes’ assistance to help them get what they want – and in return they’ll do something for her.

The question is: just what have they got in mind? And what’s more, will Mercedes agree to help?
It certainly seems that way as subsequent scenes see Mercedes paying Grace another visit with Freddie in tow as they discuss their plan to get Fraser’s money back from Warren.
But will they succeed?
One to watch: Friday May 10 from 7:30pm on Channel 4 streaming or Monday May 13 at 7pm on E4.
