Reba McEntire’s Exciting Update Has Fans Counting Down the Days
Fans of superstar Reba McEntire have reason to celebrate as her latest project is coming back for another season. Unfortunately, the return comes with a longer wait than many anticipated or want. NBC has announced that Happy's Place will return for Season 2. Deadline revealed that happy tidbit on July 28, along with the network's full fall schedule. The media outlet noted that Happy's Place will continue to air on Friday nights, and it will be a key component of a Friday night comedy block in primetime. Unfortunately, Season 2 of Happy's Place will not debut during the first wave of NBC's fall shows. Instead, it will premiere on November 7. According to Deadline, other NBC shows like The Voice, America's Got Talent, the Law & Order shows, and the Chicago trio of shows all premiere between September 23 and October 1. Initially, second episodes of Happy's Place will air on Friday nights when Season 2 gets going. Eventually, one of NBC's new series, either The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins or Stumble, will take the timeslot after Happy's Place. After the good news about Happy's Place emerged, NBC shared a teaser for the return on Instagram. "Counting down the days #HappysPlace returns on Nov 7," the caption read. The network noted that the episodes will air on both NBC and Peacock. McEntire commented, "The countdown is on!"The short video included in the Instagram post showed cast members asking, "How many days until the premiere?" McEntire responds, "102," and the group replies, "Oh, that's not bad."Fans of Happy's Place shared their excitement over the news in the comment section of the post. Everybody was thrilled to get the show back this fall. A few declared, however, that the wait would be too long for their taste. "Can't wait!! I love the show and all of the cast," read one response."You are so cute together. I'm rewatching Season One, excited for the new season," another fan shared.
