Charles Barkley feels the wrath of Knicks fans after awful NBA halftime prediction

Charles Barkley was eviscerated by Knicks fans on Sunday night after prematurely declaring the team dead against the Pacers.
Facing a 13-point deficit at halftime and the possibility of a 3-0 series deficit in the Eastern Conference Finals, Barkley all but counted New York out.
'Now, this game is pretty much over,' Barkley said during TNT's halftime show.
'This is a wrap because the Knicks can't play fast and beat the Pacers. But they're down 13, so they gotta play fast. They're gonna get ran out of this damn building.'
In fact, the opposite happened as the game slowed down and the Knicks - who trailed by as much as 20 in the second quarter - earned a crucial 106-100 comeback win.
And fans did not let Barkley live his ill-fated prediction down.

'Amazing how bad talking heads are. Must be nice to not get held accountable,' another added.
'As soon as he said this I knew bad things were coming,' a third said.
And a fourth chimed in: 'Barkley is funny and everything but he is a lousy analyst.'
After dropping the first two games of the series at Madison Square Garden, the Knicks looked set to fall into a 3-0 hole after Indiana took a 55-35 with 3:20 remaining in the first half.
But New York ended the half on an extended 10-3 run, and that momentum ultimately carried into the second half as the visitors pulled off a stunning comeback.
The Pacers still held a 10-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but Karl-Anthony Towns came alive in the final period for New York.

The big man scored 20 of his 24 points in the fourth, and the Knicks were able to outscore their hosts by 16 in the quarter to scrape their way back into the series.
Jalen Brunson, who battled foul trouble in the game like Towns (both had five fouls), had 23 points as well, while Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby were also in double figures for the Knicks.
The Pacers were led by Tyrese Haliburton's 20, while Myles Turner had 19 and Pascal Siakam had 17.
Game 4 will take place on Tuesday night in Indiana.
