Smile 2 Trailer: Watch the Official Trailer for Paramount’s Terrifying Sequel
The official ‘Smile 2′ trailer was released this week and it revealed much more about the plot and what the second film has to to offer.
The official synopsis reveals that the film follows “global pop sensation Skye Riley,” who starts encountering a series of terrifying and unexplainable events. As the horrors intensify and the demands of fame take their toll, Skye must confront her dark past to regain control of her life before everything unravels.

In the ‘Smile 2’ trailer, we see Skye Riley (Naomi Scott) inherit the sinister smiling curse from her affluent high school friend (Lukas Gage), a quirky guy with a collection of framed squirt guns and two astronaut-themed pinball machines. The timing couldn’t be worse, as Skye announces on The Drew Barrymore Show that she’s about to kick off the second leg of her world tour. Her manager (Rosemarie Dewitt) mistakes the sinister smiling entities stalking her for overly enthusiastic fans. Fortunately, Skye finds an unexpected ally in Morris (Peter Jacobson), an eccentric expert who claims to have traced the string of deaths directly to her.
This latest ‘Smile 2’ trailer marks our second glimpse into the upcoming horror film. The follows the first teaser that offered a grisly preview of the terror in store. Fans may have also noticed nods to the viral marketing tactics used for the original Smile. This includes the release of an album and the launch of an Instagram account for Skye Riley, the film’s central character.
Smile 2 will hit theaters on October 18, 2024.
