Gordon Ramsay Touched On A Scary Moment In His Life During A Recent Podcast Appearance
Ramsay is a celebrity chef and media personality. Appearing on shows on both sides of the Atlantic, he is known for appearing on shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, and MasterChef Junior.
In his personal life, Ramsay is married to Tana Hutcheson, with the two tying the knot in 1996. The two also share six children together.

Recently, Ramsay opened up about a tense moment in his family life while appearing on the “SmartLess” podcast. At the time, he was asked by co-host Sean Hayes about missing the birth of his first four kids.
According to Ramsay, this was actually his wife’s decision. He revealed he wanted to be there during the birth of his son Oscar.
Ramsay made clear, “Let’s make one thing absolutely clear, okay? My wife didn’t want me in there. She said, ‘First of all, I want my mom and your mom in here. You’re not going to f****** see me in that state. Okay. That side of the curtain. Get out of there.”
“So that was her decision, I had to respect that decision,” he continued. “And then when I did finally arrive in the theater for our fifth baby, I f****** collapsed like a wimp and I blacked out holding Oscar in the air.”
The Hell’s Kitchen Star Shared His Reaction To His Son’s Birth
Ramsay also confirmed that his son’s birth was a caesarean, after being asked by co-host Will Arnett. He continued to share the story, noting, “I said, ‘Can you play Ed Sheeran?’ So they started playing Ed. ‘But can you turn up the volume? I can hear all these noises. Turn up the volume.’ And all of a sudden, I saw two more doctors dive in. I looked on the floor and there was blood everywhere.”
“And all of a sudden, they popped him out and then they came straight over to me. I went, ‘Whoa, whoa whoa. S***!’ Yeah and then I sat back and I collapsed like a f****** idiot.”
The “SmartLess” podcast is regularly hosted by Sean Hayes, Jason Bateman, and Will Arnett. Each episode sees one of the co-hosts bring in a guest who is a surprise to the other two.
