The Hallmark Channel is set to premiere Pie To Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery on Sunday, June 22, at 8 p.m. Eastern time. Alison Sweeney returns as Hannah Swensen, the baking detective, and Barbara Niven is back as Delores Swensen.

Viewers of the ABC soap General Hospital know Cameron is there, playing the villainous Drew Cain, plus he’s hosting a game show on the Game Show Network.
But as for why he’s not on Pie To Die for, in November 2023, Cameron Mathison made an exclusive agreement with Great American Family.
Fans who were upset about the end of Aurora Teagarden are already aware of this situation- Candace Cameron Bure departed from the network for GAF, leading to the series conclusion.
Although a prequel could potentially bring this series back, that was not the case here-and they made a choice- on the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast, Alison Sweeney expressed her dislike for recasting.
As a result, when Victor Webster joined the series, he was cast as prosecutor Chad Norton.

In the mystery series previously titled “Murder She Baked”, it was explained that Mike left for a fantastic opportunity at Quantico. Currently, he is not part of the series, but his character continues in another realm.
Sweeney later talked to TV Line and elaborated on the choice, saying, “That was a decision we made for Mike because I have a background in soaps and I appreciate the idea of ‘never say never.’
So you never know where Mike might appear next.” Finally, she recognized his career choice; “I adore Cameron and wish him all the best, but he chose to follow a different career path.”
Has Hannah Moved On From Mike?
The new movie, Pie To Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, is the twelfth in the series and the fourth mystery without Cameron Mathison. Has Hannah Swensen moved on from Mike Kingston-the latest photos from the upcoming film show Hannah and Chad dancing the Tango.
