India pacer Mayank Yadav posted a heartfelt message on his social media handles after his debut for the national team against Bangladesh on Sunday, October 6. All eyes were on the youngster ever since he marked his run-up before the toss and he didn't disappoint in his first competitive match in more than five months. His last appearance was in the Indian Premier League in April. Mayank grabbed the limelight after he clocked 150kmph while bowling for the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2024. He injured himself during the tournament and after staying out of action for six months, he was handed an India cap.Mayank clocked the fastest delivery of 156.7kmph against the Royal Challengers Bangalore and became an immediate sensation. Over four games, he picked up seven wickets before being ruled out of the season due to an injury. He finished with a healthy spell of 4-1-21-1, dismissing Mahmudullah. India will play Bangladesh in the second T20I on October 9 at Mayank's home ground at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
