WNBA infuriates Caitlin Clark fans by SNUBBING
By Jake Nisse
Caitlin Clark is perhaps the biggest name who'll be participating in the WNBA postseason - but the league itself curiously excluded her from a recent playoffs promo.
Ahead of the WNBA playoffs starting on Sunday, the W's official X account shared a graphic on Thursday previewing each upcoming matchup in the first round.
And while one player from all eight postseason teams was included in the graphic, Kelsey Mitchell - and not Clark - was chosen as the Indiana Fever's representative.
Given that Clark is the presumptive Rookie of the Year and has drawn millions of new eyeballs to the WNBA, many fans were angered by the post.
'Attendance way up, arenas sold out and you leave off the player responsible for the success? Bravo,' one said.

'Everyday I learn a little more of why this league has been a complete failure since its inception,' another added.
'The fact that Clark isn’t on this graphic should prove to everyone that WNBA is jealous of her success,' a third fan chimed in.
On Friday, the W posted a different promo graphic that did include Clark, though she was positioned all the way to the left and out of the spotlight.
'Seriously Caitlin Clark in the back, she’s worth more than this entire f*****g league,' an angry fan commented on her positioning in the picture.
'What a joke the WNBA is who cares about any of these other hacks. She’s better than all of them combined.'
The W later posted another graphic that included Clark but placed her far to the left

Her supporters have also been called out by Angel Reese, who said that some of them have racially abused her.
Clark has had a tremendous debut season, setting the league's single-season assist record and helping lead the Fever to the playoffs.
The Fever were beaten by the Washington Mystics in their final regular season game but enter the postseason as the No. 6 seed.
Their best-of-three series vs. the Connecticut Sun begins on Sunday at 3pm ET.
