Coronation Street legends shock crowds as they aggressively fight in public

Actor Bruce Jones, best known for his role as layabout Les Battersby in Coronation Street, went head to head with another former co-star at a wrestling event.
Pro wrestling company Sovpro confirmed the fight announcement on Twitter/X with a snap of Bruce in March this year.
This weekend he clashed with another cobbles icon, Ashley Peacock star Steven Arnold, 49, inside Manchester’s Trinity Sports Centre, though the action stopped short of punches and suplexes.
It has been announced today (15th March) that Steven Arnold, known for his role as butcher Ashley Peacock.
Ashley was part of the show for fifteen years before being killed off during the catastrophic tram crash episodes that were made to commemorate fifty years of the ITV soap in December 2010.
In a promo video, Steven declared: ‘Les – you can run and hide all you want. We both know what you’ve done and I’m not having it. Don’t dare say it wasn’t you, because I know it was’ Ashley began.

They looked to have a tense exchange before watching the action take place in the ring.
Bruce was reportedly suspended from the ITV soap opera in 2007 after he allegedly got drunk and revealed future storylines.
He was written out off-screen, explaining that he had joined a ZZ Top tribute band on tour as a roadie.
Now 71, Jones recently revealed that he still has nightmares after discovering a victim of the Yorkshire Ripper forty five years ago.
He told The Guardian: ‘I never told anyone what I saw. For a long time I saw that girl every day. I still have nightmares.’
In 2022, he contributed towards an ITV documentary investigating the murders.
