Small section of beach in Rodanthe temporarily closed for exposed hazards
Cape Hatteras National Seashore announced Tuesday afternoon, June 25, 2024 that it has temporarily closed a small section of beach adjacent to G.A. Kohler Court in Rodanthe due to exposed hazards, including house-related septic systems, wires, pipes and broken concrete parking pads.
Hazards may also be present in other areas of the beach in Rodanthe, so beachgoers should use caution throughout the beaches adjacent to the village, noted a CHNS news release.
