Casino Crime Round Up: Shots Fired at Luxor Complex in Las Vegas
A suspect who fired multiple bullets at the Luxor Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip was on the loose as of Wednesday.

The unnamed person apparently got angry at resort-casino security guards for throwing him out of the complex, according to Las Vegas TV station KVVU.
On his way outside, he fired the bullets at a glass door at the gaming property at about 5 a.m. Wednesday.
No one was injured.
Officials didn’t release an estimate to repair the damage.
Roadhouse Casino Employee Allegedly Embezzles $15K
A bookkeeper at Elko, Nev,’s Roadhouse Casino allegedly recently stole over $15K from an ATM at the gaming property.
Sara R. Brady, 54, was arrested on May 16 on four counts of embezzlement, according to the Elko Daily Free Press, a local Nevada news outlet.
She was booked at the Elko County Jail. Her bail was set at $400K. Brady’s case was turned over to local prosecutors.
Brady was the only employee who had authority to fill the ATM with cash, the report said. Nor could anyone else open the ATM, she confirmed to police.
Accountants at the casino discovered between about $3K and $4K was improperly withdrawn from the ATM per week for several successive weeks.
Initially, the investigation began after the ATM had no cash when it was supposed to have $8K for the week.
Also, four deposits in records didn’t correspond to the amounts Brady reportedly put into the machine, authorities said. In total, $15,640 was missing from the ATM, according to April bank records
In an unrelated incident, also in Elko County, on May 1 three Wendover Nugget employees were charged with conspiring to embezzle. One of them has agreed to a plea deal, according to the Daily Free Press.
Woman Charged After Kids Left in Car
A woman was arrested Tuesday after police discovered twin babies and a seven-year-old left alone in a parked car at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati.
The babies were both 18 months old, Kentucky TV station WXIX reported.
Kylie Pratt of Rushville, Ind., was charged with three counts of endangering children, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
She was booked at the Hamilton County Justice Center on Tuesday, and appeared in court on Wednesday. Her next court appearance is on June 3.
Deputies reviewed casino surveillance video which showed Pratt driving to the casino, getting out of her vehicle, and leaving the kids unsupervised, authorities said.
There were no reports that any of the children were injured.
