Shoppers race to Asda to grab laundry detergent that’s scanning at the till for 90p – and Persil and Bold is slashed too

Shoppers who have managed to nab the bargains, took to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains to share details.

Elaine Armstrong posted several images of the bargains she grabbed.
The post was captioned: “ASDA – worth checking – Comfort £1, Persil £2.20, Bold £2.61.”
The images showed bottles of XL Bold Gel 35 washes, boxes of Persil 3 in 1 nonbio capsules, 32 in a box, and Comfort Ultimate Care fabric conditioner for 68 washes.
Nicola O’Dwyer commented on Elaine’s post saying she too had grabbed the same bargains.
“Got some in Asda York but as fast as it was being priced up it was gone,” she wrote.
Sarah Palmer asked Elaine: “Why is it all going so cheap everywhere?”
Elaine replied: “Changing packages apparently so grabbed it while it was cheap because no doubt they change packaging and push the price right up.”
Shelly Stoodley also spotted her own laundry bargain in another Asda store.
She posted a photo of her basket which was full of Surf Tropical Lily washing liquid.
She added: “90p in Asda, grabbed four.. that’s the washing sorted for a few months.”
Shelley added: “I’m just a two house household so will last a while.”
Several Asda shoppers shared their frustration at the bargains not being available nationwide.
Debbie Holden said: “Yet again none of these bargains in our Asda, surely should be the same in all stores?”
Karen Crease commented: “It’s a joke not all stores are doing them at the reduced price.”
If you’re looking for other bargains at Asda, George at Asda is selling school uniform items from £3.

Sweatshirt – from £5-£9
