I’m a Walmart employee – the best day to shop and the aisle to check out to snag the biggest deals in store
A WALMART worker has revealed eight hacks to save more money while shopping at the retail chain.

The nine-year Walmart veteran started off by letting customers in on the secret clearance aisle sales.
“Serious deals emerge every Tuesday when those aisles transform into hidden bargain goldmines,” the employee told GO Banking. Rates.
“Keep an eye out for yellow stickers ending in ‘5’ or ‘0’ marking deepest discounts.
“It’s like a special savings event happens weekly – if you just know when and where to look.”
If you miss the special savings, there’s no need to worry.
The employee offered several other savings secrets that can be used any day of the week.
Avid Walmart shoppers should download the Walmart app for flash sales, clearance events, and special coupons.
The employee also highly recommends Walmart shoppers download the app Ibotta, which links to your Walmart account, to get cash back on certain purchases.
“Download the Ibotta app, link your Walmart rewards account, and automatically earn cash back on eligible purchases,” the worker said.
“It’s an extra little rebate that keeps adding up when items you already buy trigger bonuses.”
Cashback and savings isn’t all the Walmart app has to offer.
If you’re shopping during a busy time, the Walmart app offers customers the ability to Scan and Go.
“Shoppers can scan items directly in their carts using phones as they shop,” the employee said.
“Then breeze straight through the exit when finished grabbing goods rather than waiting to check out.”
Although you can use the scan and go option on the Walmart app, the incognito employee suggests just skipping peak hours altogether.
Avoiding weekends and evenings will make your shopping experience better, allowing you to really focus on the discounts of the day.
If you’re leisurely browsing the products and notice that certain items can be bought cheaper on Amazon or at other grocery stores, take advantage of Walmart’s price match program.
“Walmart’s price matching can be a secret weapon,” the employee said.
“Just show proof of the same in-stock product priced lower at a local brick-and-mortar competitor and they’ll adjust your previous charge.”
Don’t be afraid to ask an employee at the store for help with price matching or with any other questions you may have, the worker advised.
“Friendly Walmart employees can point you toward items, answer product questions and even provide recommendations,” the employee said.
If you ask a Walmart employee for help, you may get lucky and end up with more savings secrets.
