Lane Closures, New Traffic Patterns Coming To Five Points Intersection

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — Five Points Intersection in Montgomery Township will have lane closures and alternate traffic patterns next week due to daytime and nighttime construction, PennDOT said.Drivers are advised of alternating lane closures and temporary traffic patterns on Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Tuesday, May 14 to Friday, May 17, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning at the following locations:Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) between North Wales Road and McLaughlin Road;Route 463 (Cowpath Road/Horsham Road) between Lansdale Avenue and North Wales Road;and Business U.S. 202 (Doylestown Road) between Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) and Betty’s Avenue.This work is being done under a $14.2 million project to improve travel and safety at the Bethlehem Pike, Horsham Road/Cowpath Road, and Doylestown Road intersection.Drivers are advised to allow for extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur.All schedules are weather dependent.The article Lane Closures, New Traffic Patterns Coming To Five Points Intersection appeared first on Montgomeryville-Lansdale, PA Patch.
