Latest recruiting intel on top prospects in the updated 2026 On300
The 2026 On300 Rankings have been updated, and things are already taking shape on the trail with the nation’s elite prospects.
On3’s Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong share the latest intel on some of the top uncommitted players.
5-star DL Jahkeem Stewart
The Buzz: Ohio State, USC and Oregon are the programs standing out right now for the Reserve (La.) St. Augustine five-star, but those aren’t the only contenders. LSU, Texas, Auburn and Miami are also in the middle of this one. Stewart and his camp are setting up visits to return to each of these programs this summer. Stewart will also be at the USC-LSU game in Las Vegas to kickoff the season.
5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho
The Buzz: Early front-runners for the nation’s No. 1 ranked offensive tackle include Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas. The Nittany Lions got him to campus twice this spring but they’re going to have to battle the best of the best to win this DMV blue-chip battle.
5-star OT Jackson Cantwell
The Buzz: The newly-minted five-star out of Nixa (Mo.) High says several schools are catching his eye.
“From that SEC list, Georgia, Bama, Mizzou are probably in there,” Cantwell said. “As far as other places I can see Nebraska is in there. LSU, Florida, there is a lot of places I’m considering.”
That also includes Oregon and USC. Cantwell will visit the Ducks on June 12 while in Eugene for the Nike Track Nationals on June 14. He’s going to head out to USC on June 15.
“I can see myself visiting a lot of the schools this summer and fall.”
We think the Bulldogs are setting the early pace.
4-star IOL Lamar Brown
The Buzz: LSU is certainly one of the front-runners and has had Brown on campus a couple times this calendar year including a mid-April return.
“It was great at LSU,” Brown said. It wasn’t nothing new.
They still have the same W.I.N mentality.”
Brown was blown away by a game experience at Alabama late in the fall and others in the mix include Georgia where he visited in February and Oregon. He wants to get to Eugene in June.
4-star OT John Turntine
The Buzz: LSU, Oregon, Michigan, Ohio State and Oklahoma are a five programs the Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley standout is high on. Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, SMU and Alabama are severals in play in what’s a fluid recruitment at this point in the cycle.
4-star ATH Brandon Arrington
The Buzz: The No. 1 ranked athlete in the nation has elite speed and a few programs grabbing his attention early.
“Alabama, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Oregon been the main schools tapping in,” Arrington said.
Arrington is working to get Oregon on the calendar for the near future and same thing with Texas A&M.
Ducks are in a great spot here with the track appeal as well.
4-star edge Zion Elee
The Buzz: The Joppa (Md.) Joppatowne edge tells On3 he has locked in a visit to Penn State for June 2.
“Oregon, Alabama, Penn State, Maryland, Ohio State are the top schools recruiting me right now, he added. “And Miami.”
Elee wants to add a visit date to Alabama.
A wave of summer visits set for Marshall on June 11, Kentucky on June 12, Cincinnati on June 13, Indiana, Purdue and Northern Illinois on June 14, Northwestern on June 15, Notre Dame on June 16, Toledo on June 16 and Ohio State on June 17.
4-star edge Anthony Jones
The Buzz: “Auburn, LSU and Georgia” are the three programs catching Jones’s eye early in his process.
“I like the environment and the atmosphere around all three places,” Jones said. “I also think that they are coached well and I have some good relationships with the coaches.”
Jones will be back at Auburn on July 27.
“I’m trying to get to Texas and a couple more schools also.”
4-star S Blaine Bradford
The Buzz: Four schools have emerged for the No. 1 safety in the country in LSU, Notre Dame, Oregon and Texas. The Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic standout loves the family culture at LSU, the tradition of Notre Dame and the transparent communication from Texas. He is looking forward to getting out to Oregon this summer.
“Something about the people there and the way they run their programs,” Bradford said of his top early contenders.
A Notre Dame visit is set for June 10.
4-star QB Faizon Brandon
The Buzz: The No. 1 ranked passer in the 2026 class says he’ll be at Tennessee on June 1, Ohio State on June 10, LSU on June 15, Alabama on June 22 and Penn State on July 27.
The Vols have had Brandon on campus several times and are setting the early pace.
“Every time I go I continue to learn more about how they develop’ quarterbacks which is very important to me,” Brandon has said. I enjoy every visit that I have with them.”
Florida State is another program squarely in the mix and he’ll get back this summer.
4-star TE Kendre Harrison
The Buzz: The No. 1 tight end in the rankings says “Penn State, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina , Florida State and Alabama stand out right now because that’s who I talk to the most,” Harrison said. He’s been on campus with the in-state Tar Heels a bunch including a few times already this calendar year.
Harrison is thinking about playing both basketball and football on the next level.
4-star CB Elbert Hill
The Buzz: Easy to like Ohio State early on in the recruitment of the Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban standout who beyond the track record of development at cornerback, also likes the family feel he gets when in Columbus. Penn State and Oregon are the biggest challengers to the Buckeyes early in the process.
4-star QB Dia Bell
The Buzz: The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage quarterback says his recruitment is still open although a decision could come prior to his junior season. Penn State, LSU, Texas and Miami are four Bell is high on. He will be back in Austin on June 1.
Beyond those programs, Ohio State, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee are some of the others Bell is building a strong rapport with.
4-star CB RJ Sermons
The Buzz: A USC legacy recruit, Sermons enjoyed his spring visit with Lincoln Riley and company. If the Trojans start to roll, they could be tough to beat.
“What excites me about opportunity there is that there is plenty of it with an elite coaching staff that is big on development.”
Sermons talked with On3 about the programs he’s interested in.
“A few programs that have really caught my eye early on are USC, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Penn State. Just wrapped up my track season so I am just starting to set dates but this summer I will be visiting Oregon, Penn State, USC, Texas A&M, Notre Dame and UCLA.”
4-star edge Hezekiah Harris
The Buzz: The Huntsville (Ala.) Jemison pass rusher most likely ends up in the SEC unless Clemson or Ohio State can change things.
“Right now the programs that’s catching my eye are Auburn, Clemson, Ohio State, UGA, LSU, just to name a few,” Harris said.
Harris has some visits on the radar as well.
“Ohio State, Auburn, FSU, and UGA right now,” he said. “Probably will add a few more this summer.”
4-star ATH Derrek Cooper
The Buzz: The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna standout says he’s highest on Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Ohio State. Miami is in there too. He’ll be at Georgia on June 20. The Seminoles are on the intinerary as well.
“I’m waiting on Alabama, UF and Ohio (State) visits soon.”
If he leaves the Sunshine State, Georgia could be the team to watch.
4-star IOL Pierre Dean
The Buzz: No summer visits planned yet for the Clemmons (NC) West Forsyth standout who says “Georgia, FSU, South Carolina, Ohio State and NC State are some schools that I’m excited about. They have been staying in touch with me the best they can and keeping it real with me.”
That trip to Florida State in February was a needle move. Dean also visited Alabama in early April.
Dean is wide open.
4-star edge Jordan Carter
The Buzz: If Georgia pushing hard, the Bulldogs are early one to watch with the Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County edge rusher who says he hasn’t planned in summery visits just yet. The Bulldogs have hosted Carter several times including for the spring game. Auburn, Florida, LSU and Tennessee are a few of the others Carter is high on early in his process. The folks on The Plains and Baton Rouge have shown Carter a lot of attention.
4-star LB Tyler Atkinson
The Buzz: Georgia and Ohio State may be setting the tone early in this recruitment but the Bulldogs and Buckeyes have company for the top-ranked linebacker out of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson.
Atkinson made some rounds in the spring including a memorable trip to Columbus.
“I’d definitely say Ohio State is doing a very good job,” Atkinson said. “Florida State, Georgia, Texas, those are some good schools doing a very good job. Clemson.”
Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and Auburn also got spring visits.
“Don’t have a list yet of what visits I’m going to be taking this summer,” Atkinson said.
4-star RB Javian Osborne
The Buzz: The No. 1 running back in the land out of Forney (Texas) High says “Michigan, Notre Dame, Alabama, Florida State and Oregon” in no specific order are places he has a keen eye on early in the cycle. Osborne was in Eugene this past weekend.
Texas is certainly another one in there as Osborne has been to Austin several times. Baylor, Texas A&M and Oklahoma also got spring visits.
4-star S Zelus Hicks
The Buzz: Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech and Ohio State are five programs rising to the top of the Carrollton (Ga.) High product’s recruitment. We would lean Georgia but some of these others are really priotizing Hicks.
4-star DL Aiden Harris
The Buzz: Schools that are catching Harris’s eye include “Ohio State, Michigan, Miami and Souther Cal, UCLA, Florida.” As his process continues he’s trying to get to Miami and Ohio State among others.
We think the Buckeyes and Wolverines definitely have his attention.
4-star OT Ekene Ogboko
The Buzz: Ogboko’s older brother Nnamdi signed with Georgia in the 2024 cycle and the Bulldogs have impressed him as well. Clemson and Notre Dame are two others Ogboko is high on.
4-star S Kaiden Hall
The Buzz: The ones impressing the Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton standout are “Alabama, Florida, FSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, UCF and Washington.” Hall said, adding he’s working to get to most of those programs this summer along with Ohio State.
4-star IOL Kevin Brown
The Buzz: Brown has already visited Penn State close to 10 times with plans to return again in June as he’s built a great connection with offensive line coach Phil Trautwein and the rest of the Nittany Lions staff. A spring swing saw Brown hit Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgia. Notre Dame is another offer to potentially keep an eye on. Brown’s father played at West Virginia.
Maybe this one evolves into a Penn State-Notre Dame battle.
4-star ATH Salesi Moa
The Buzz: An offer from Oregon in early April was huge for Moa who is excited to camp in Eugene this summer. Alabama and Tennessee are two other programs he’s excited to camp at and potentially earn a scholarship. Clemson and Georgia are also on the radar for visits. Utah was first to offer Moa and his father suited up for the Utes. Two of his older brothers elected to play their college football at BYU.
4-star RB Jonaz Walton
The Buzz: Georgia quickly prioritized the electric in-state back out of Carrollton (Ga.) Central and has gotten him and his family over to Athens several times. The Bulldogs biggest competition could come from Alabama, but now you have powerhouse programs and schools from coast to cast entering the race like Stanford, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State. A Clemson offer could be intriguing and South Carolina has also gotten Walton to campus.
4-star RB Damarius Yates
The Buzz: Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, Mississippi State, Penn State and Texas A&M are the main ones that have Yates eye with the Buckeyes a program he plans to visit in the next few weeks. Tennessee and TCU are also slated to get visits in the near future.
4-star WR Aaron Gregory
The Buzz: Gregory tells On3 he plans to visit Clemson and Georgia soon and those two programs are certainly near the top of his list. Same goes for Tennessee, Ohio State, Texas A&M and LSU among others. Gregory plans to narrow his list of roughly 50 offers in June.
“I would say Tennessee is coming on strong,” Gregory said before adding a few more really making an impression. “LSU, Ohio State and Texas A&M.”
