Polyfamily star Sean Hartless is one of the least desirable cast members of the new TLC series. It just wrapped Season 1, but viewers have nothing positive to say. Now, his secret scandalous past life has come to the surface, and it shows that everyone’s intuition about him was right.

The new TLC series, Polyfamily, followed a closed quad made up of two married couples. Tyler is married to Alysia, while Taya is with Sean, yet the husbands are dating each other’s wives. They all live together with their children, but the paternity of the three youngest is unknown. They like feeling that all the kids are theirs as a whole, regardless of DNA, but that has proven difficult. As for being “closed,” this means that they do not bring anyone else into their situation. Fans have not cared for Sean Hartless from the beginning, as he is always grumpy, somewhat controlling, and often condescending.

Viewers’ intuition about him was spot on, as his scandalous past has resurfaced. Someone came on Twitter and noted that he had other children away from the quad that had never been mentioned on the series. However, he had allegedly abandoned them, and there was a lot of tea, but it was hard to verify. Now, the truth has emerged, and it turns out this is not his first rodeo. Sean was married in 1999, welcoming a child the following year, and divorcing in 2001. Then, he remarried in 2003, welcoming twins, a boy and a girl, likely in 2002.
That marriage ended in 2016, and he has been married to Taya for around six years now. Unfortunately, his kids and past marriages are not the only things that the Polyfamily star has been hiding. Sean’s first wife wanted to change the way custody was handled with their daughter, noting she was in “immediate danger.” She stated, in a motion:
“In September of 2003, child started crying and throwing tantrums before every weekend visitation with her father.”
His ex-wife added in the motion:
“Child’s behavior is progressively getting worse. She starts crying and screaming 2 to 3 days before a weekend parenting time with Father. She specifically complains about having to go upstairs in Father’s house. She states that she is scared to go upstairs in Father’s house. When I pick her up from a weekend at Father’s house, Child is mad at me for making her go to Father’s house because she had to go upstairs.”

Sean Hartless’ second wife also filed to protect their twins, also deeming they were in “immediate danger.” It seems that the Polyfamily star, who is raising five minor children with the quad, was being investigated for “inappropriate sexual interactions with a minor child online.” He had to have supervised visits with his children, but it does not appear that any legal action was taken for the online situation. His son, Hayden, spoke up about his father, and he was anything but kind. One person talked about Sean’s current wife, Taya, and the CPS information, with Hayden saying this:
They don’t keep those, she reports any post about them to get it taken down, she can’t get rid of the past though. We still exist.
He continued on with how horrible his father is:
The show makes him look like a bad person, and that’s because he is. As long as people don’t like him that’s and know that he is a bad person thej its just funny. He left his other family’s I just wonder how long for this one.
