Danmachi Season 5 Teases the War Games Finale in New Trailer
In anticipation of its upcoming finale, a new PV trailer has been released for the ongoing Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? V, teasing the climactic conclusion of the overall “Goddess of Fertility” story arc. The season five finale will air in Japan on March 5, 2025 after first premiering on October 5, 2024.
The most recent episodes of the anime were delayed on December 24, 2024 JST due to “production reasons.” Episodes 12 and 13 shifted their Japanese broadcast premieres to February 8, 2025, with episode 14 and 15 following on February 27, 2025, and March 6, 2025 respectively. Abema Premium streamed the episodes the day before their respective broadcast debuts. Before the initial delay, the ninth episode was delayed from November 29, 2024 to December 5, 2024.
Hideki Tachibana (since Season 2) is directing the fifth season, with Shigeki Kimoto (since Season 1) as character designer, Hideki Shirane (since Season 1) and original author Fujino Omori (since Season 4) as series screenwriters. J.C.STAFF is handling the animation production once again since working on the first season.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The anime is based on the GA Bunko light novel series written by Fujino Omori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yamada, which began on January 15, 2013 and has released 20 volumes as of December 2024. The 21st volume will mark the start of the final arc. Yen Press releases the light novels and manga in English.
Aside from the main light novel series, the series has also inspired Danmachi light novel spin-offs, manga, mobile games, and an anime film. The Sword Oratoria spin-off inspired a 2017 TV anime.

The first season of the main DanMachi anime series premiered in 2015, with season two airing in 2019, season three in 2020, and season four between 2022 to 2023.
HIDIVE and Crunchyroll are streaming the fifth season, with the former describing it as:
