Two years after his Tourette’s diagnosis, Lewis Capaldi appears to be back in the studio recording alongside Noah Kahan.
Lewis, 27, has taken a step back from music after he shocked audiences at Glastonbury 2023 when his performance was derailed resulting in fans rallying around the singer.
In his documentary How I’m Feeling Now, he announced he would be taking time off, particularly from touring, and focusing on his health.
Noah, also 27, posted some snaps of life recently to his Instagram but fans quickly noticed Lewis in the background of one of his pictures.
The Someone You Loved singer could be seen standing in the studio, headphones on as he sang into a microphone.
‘There ain’t nothing to report, but I hope you’re bored and heading north,’ Noah captioned the post.

‘“Nothing to report” that is literally Lewis Capaldi in a studio w you sir,’ commented fan Cassandra Crocee.
Grace Semaan added: ‘Why is no one talking about the photo of him and Lewis Capaldi in the studio together?????’
‘Couldn’t help but notice there was in fact something to report,’ Ryan Jarvis said as Brett Molloy joked: ‘Think I’m stupid? I know @lewiscapaldi when I see him.’
Along with the snap of Lewis, Noah posted a song snippet as a teaser which drove fans even wilder.
Fans were thrilled at the prospect of a duet between the Stick Season singer and the Brit Award winner.
‘No one speak to me too much happened,’ tweeted bigbucketdan as Hannah added: ‘OHHHH my heart is gonna be shattered I can feel it.’

The picture is the first hint that Lewis could be returning after his Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent album — his second record — last year.
In December he gave fans a surprise health update, writing on X: ‘Firstly, I want to start this by saying I hope you’re all doing well out there, I’ve missed you!’
He continued: ‘As most of you will know, I’m currently taking some time off to focus on my health and wellbeing and it’s been going great! I’ve been working with some incredible professionals to help me learn about and cope better with my Tourette’s and anxiety issues.
‘I’m really happy to say I’ve noticed a marked improvement in both since I decided to take some time off back in June.’

When discussing Lewis health in November, friend Roman Kemp praised his strength to take a step back.
He said: ‘I implore artists to do it and I implore labels to allow artists to do it, to not put that much pressure on them and that is why Lewis Capaldi is a game changer. He is one of those artists that stood up and said that.
‘To be able to say you know what I’m not going to walk out in front of thousands of people, I’m not gonna walk out to adoring fans and people to sing my name every night.
‘I’m gonna go back and I’m gonna look after myself, that my friends is a real f**king rockstar. That’s Lewis Capaldi.’
