Reba McEntire has sent a message to businesswoman and media personality Martha Steward in a recent social media post. In a video, McEntire was seen with a fellow coach from The Voice. The country singer even tagged Stewart to ensure Stewart would see it.
Some Fans Would Like To See A Follow-Up
In a video released on September 30, McEntire could be seen with rapper and singer Snoop Dogg. Both moved along to the tune of “Da’ Dip” by Freak Nasty.
McEntire decided to have a little fun with the caption, writing, “Your move @marthastewart.” This is likely in reference to Martha Stewart’s famous friendship with Snoop Dogg. Stewart was also notably tagged by the video, increasing the chances of her seeing and responding to it.
While the video jokingly implies McEntire is trying to become Snoop Dogg’s new best friend, the two have actually just started working together on The Voice. McEntire joined the series in Season 24, while Snoop Dogg joined the series with the 26th season. Both musicians are part of the series’ coaching panel and help to guide new singers throughout the competition.
Fans took the post lightly, sharing what they think will happen next. One user jokingly worried about Stewart and Snoop Dogg’s friendship, writing that, “What’s going on here? DId Snoop and Martha break up?”
Some fans were anticipating Stewart’s response. As one user wrote, “Okay… I need Martha out here too!!! Come on now aunty Martha.”
Snoop Dogg & Stewart Go Way Back
Over the years, Stewart and Snoop Dogg haven’t kept their friendship a secret. Back in 2016, both starred in the VH1 variety show Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. They have also appeared in various commercials together, for things ranging from T-Mobile to Tostitos.
Stewart and Snoop Dogg also both attended the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, even getting featured on an NBC primetime segment. During an equestrian event, Stewart was even there to help Snoop Dogg deal with his fear of horses.
All in all, Stewart and Snoop Dogg are known for having quite a history with each other. As noted by Parade, the two likely first met when the rapper appeared on Stewart’s cooking show back in 2008. Over the years, however, the two have been known to become close friends. As noted by NBC, Stewart once told Jimmy Fallon, while appearing on The Tonight Show, that, “Snoop is just like my little brother. I had three brothers… But he’s like the fourth brother.”
