‘Not the best look’: Drag Race’s Bob posted beef with her Uber Eats driver and it’s cringe
We all love Bob the Drag Queen, truly one of the best Drag Race winners ever and one of the most beloved and celebrated queens in the entire franchise. With good reason. Bob is not only formidable at Drag Race, but her work on Sibling Rivalry has given the fandom some of the most insightful and hilarious commentary about the show and its queens to the point that engaging with the podcasts following an episode is as integral to the show as watching it. But even the mighty slip up, and now Bob the Drag Queen is getting dragged over on Drag Race Reddit after she posted a slightly tone deaf conversation with an Uber Eats driver where people think the driver absolutely gagged Bob.
‘I’d have to go for a lie down’
Bob the Drag Queen posted a screenshot saying “Am I in a fight with my Uber Eats driver” on her story. The conversation shows Bob asking the delivery person “Is the food there?” and then one minute later saying “Says you’ve been picking it up for about 10 minutes.”
The delivery diva had an iconic response to the mithering to be honest, and said “OK? There’s a line. It’s a Saturday night in Hollywood. And if we’re being honest, I have two orders – and yours is the hold up.” Gagged Bob for SURE.
Over on Reddit, the only place where this saga wouldn’t be missed by fans who aren’t as tuned in, people are fascinated why Bob would post this exchange when she doesn’t really come out looking the victor. One person said “I would have to put down the phone and breathe” after receiving those messages. Which is quite hilarious.
Others have taken it a bit more seriously, with one person saying “Oh girl I order Uber Eats all the time, whenever someone is picking up an order for an extended amount of time that means they’re waiting for the restaurant to be ready.”
This prompted a reply saying “There is literally zero reason why a driver would want it to take longer. They obviously want it to go quickly so they can get on to the next. I really feel for these people because it’s a much tougher gig than people think. Bob is not cool for doing this.”
One said of the Drag Race winner Bob VS Uber Eats driver: “You can’t be ordering food at 1am and talking to your driver like this, I’m sorry” and another agreeing saying “Yeah I’m not sure why Bob posted this as they come off as awful. Complaining from their couch/bed at 1am to the poorly paid Uber driver for a 10 minute wait? Then posting it to your followers like it’s relatable to be annoyed at our Hollywood food not being delivered immediately… Not the best look”.
