Police: Home invasion led to triple stabbing in Taunton
TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — A man is facing several charges after three people were stabbed Tuesday afternoon in Taunton.
Cye Key, 24, was arrested after Taunton police responded to Paul Bunker Drive for reports of a stabbing. Three victims were taken to a local hospital for their injuries, according to police.

Key allegedly entered an apartment armed with a hammer and a large knife and attacked the victims. Police said their investigation revealed that the incident stemmed from an argument the previous night.

Key is charged with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and single counts of home invasion and possession of crack cocaine.
Police said Key also had outstanding warrants for his arrest from prior incidents.
Sources told 12 News that Key was sentenced to prison back in 2019 for shooting a liquor store owner during an attempted robbery.
