The Traitors: Wild season 3 cast includes Bob the Drag Queen and Chrishell Stause
The cast for the new season of The Traitors US is a chaotic mix of queers, reality television veterans and… Zac Efron’s brother.
On 5 June, host Alan Cumming announced the insane line-up for the third season of the US franchise, which differs from its UK counterpart with a cast of legendary contestants from across reality series such as Big Brother, Survivor, The Bachelor and The Real Housewives.
As is the case with the first two seasons, which featured stars such as Brandi Glanville, Kate Chastain, Cirie Fields, Peppermint, Ekin-Su, Parvati Shallow and Phaedra Parks, there’s a lot of names for the queers to enjoy.
The major LGBTQIA+ names this season are: Drag Race season eight winner Bob the Drag Queen; Selling Sunset lead Chrishell Stause; Lord Ivan Mountbatten, the first openly gay member of the British Royal’s extended family; The Biggest Loser host Bob Harper; The Bachelor’s Gabby Windey; and Survivor icon Carolyn Wiger.
LGBTQIA+ adjacent stars (as in, the gays know of or love them etc) include Dylan Efron, who appeared with his brother on his Netflix reality series Down to Earth, Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari and Housewives such as Chanel Ayan, Dolores Catania, Dorinda Medley and Robyn Dixon.
The synopsis for season three, as per, reads: “21 larger-than-life personalities who come together to compete in a series of missions with the objective of earning a cash prize of up to $250,000.
“The catch? Hidden amongst the Faithful contestants are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful and claim the prize for themselves.
“Under the cover of darkness, the Traitors ‘murder’ contestants one by one, but if the Faithful can banish all the Traitors before the end of the game, they’ll split the incredible prize.”
