Leida may be one of the few cast members who have had multiple criminal charges. According to reports, the 90 Day Fiance star was charged with theft from a business setting, fraudulent data alteration, forgery, and wire fraud against a financial institution. The charges were filed in May 2024. She pleaded not guilty to the charges in July 2024. Some of her theft charges were dismissed in December 2024. But she faced felony charges for bail jumping.

Leida’s Pregnancy Shocker After DV Arrest
Leida Margaretha’s trouble with the law was only getting worse. Earlier this year, the 90 Day Fiance star was charged with domestic violence. She had a heated argument with Eric where she reportedly snapped and attempted to k*ll herself. She allegedly threw a laptop and slammed her dog to the ground. Eric restrained her by grabbing her by the neck. But many were shocked when Leida claimed that it was the other way around, saying that her husband was the one who was physically hurting her. She claimed that her pregnancy made her condition worse, adding that hurting herself was the only thing she could think of to let the anxieties go away.
A reality TV fan page, @90dayfianceupdate, recently uploaded new photos of Leida with a much larger baby bump. The page mentioned the Domestic Violence controversy of Leida and Eric, adding that her next court date is April 2025. Several fans weigh in on the issue. Some said she may not be pregnant and may only be using it as an excuse to escape the charges, while others think she should be punished by hurting the dog.

According to the 90 Day Fiance star, she regrets airing her husband’s “dirty laundry,” adding that she won’t do it again. She eventually shared sweet photos of them online, proving that they were able to work things through. But some said it was a clear indication of how unstable Leida and Eric’s marriage is.
