Gen Z woman attempts to buy 72 rolls of laundry quarters for $10 on Amazon, is baffled when she gets scammed: 'Isn't this the kind of thing that Gen Z thought only Boomers do?'
Almost all of us have a reliance on online shopping these days, but there are some things you just don't risk it with. For example, that obviously dropshipped miracle product being advertised on Twitter, or a suspiciously cheap piece of technology on Temu. However, we all have our dumb moments and some of us tend to be dumber than others. This seemed to be the conclusion that one girl reached when she revealed how she didn't know how to get quarters for her laundry machine, so she tried to buy some from Amazon. Predictably, the great deal she found was not all that it promised to be and it had the internet despairing at her thought process. While it's true that gullibility isn't just a Gen Z problem, people from this generation appear to be a lot more likely to post about their more stupid moments. Clearly, their parents didn't do everything they were supposed to do as well.
