On Monday, Strategy founder Michael Saylor announced that his company purchased another 4,225 BTC to add to its stash.
Strategy, the bitcoin and business intelligence (BI) firm, has acquired 4,225 BTC, according to an X post from the company’s founder, Michael Saylor. The news follows the subtle hint he gave on Sunday, which showed the Strategy tracker with an extra orange dot. Saylor said that Strategy snagged 4,225 BTC for around $472.5 million, shelling out roughly $111,827 per coin—and has scored a 20.2% bitcoin yield so far in 2025.
As of yesterday, July 13, 2025, the company holds a total of 601,550 BTC, scooped up for about $42.87 billion at an average of $71,268 per bitcoin. At press time, BTC is exchanging hands for $121,777 per unit at 8 a.m. Eastern time on Monday.
