Copper Wiring Stolen From Philadelphia Construction Site: Police
PHILADELPHIA — A man stole a large amount of copper wiring from a Philadelphia construction site recently, and police are looking for him.The incident occurred at about 5:56 a.m. Tuesday at a site at 5606 Germantown Ave., police said.According to police, the man seen above was captured on camera walking around the site, then breaking into it at that time.He took the copper wiring then left the area, heading west on Germantown Avenue, police said.Police described the suspect as a white man who was wearing a blue jacket with tan sleeves, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, a blue T-shirt, gray sweatpants with the word "Nope" in white lettering, black sneakers, and black work gloves.If you see this suspect, do not approach him and instead contact 911 immediately.To submit a tip via telephone, dial 215-686-8477 or text a tip to 215-686-8477.
